More vibration and sound for new incoming email
iBiff is an iPhone application that notifies new mail arrivals with vibration and sound.
These notifications are available both 3G networks and Wi-Fi connections.
We have two iBiff editions, Lite and PRO.
iBiff Lite functionality
- Support imap mail box such as google mail.
- Able to set number of times to vibrate for new mail.
- Able to set number of new mail inquiry interval by seconds.
- Able to set favorite picture or photo for mail waiting screen from iPhone's photo library.
- Packet statistics panel available for number of sent/received packet size.
- Minimize new mail inquiry packet about 250 bytes.
- Black out mode added. (ver 1.1)
- Preset ring-tones added. (ver 1.1)
- Play audio for new mail. Audio file can be downloaded via http. (ver 1.1)
- Play video for new mail. (ver 1.2)
iBiff PRO functionality (planned)
- Support POP3 servers.
- Support multiple mail accounts.

Useage
- After downloading from App Store, you need to setup mail accounts before running this software.
- If your mail account is google mail, please set the imap server name to 'imap.gmail.com' and the userid to your full google mail account including '@gmail.com' part.
- The default imap server name 'i.softbank.jp' is for Japanese iPhone users. Please change according to your 3G network provider's imap server name.
- This software should be used network reachable environment.
- Please don't let your iPhone sleep mode since network is not available in sleep mode.
- If Wi-Fi connection is lost, you may need to restart Wi-Fi connection from network settings.
- We will continue to provide better software through minor version updates.
Trouble shooting
- If imap server name setting is missing, you will see Last fatal error code=9 0. Please make sure your imap server name is correct in the system settings.
Last fatal error code
The left part of last fatal error code has following meanings.
Other than these, please ask support for details.
- 5: imap server name lookup failed.
- 6: imap server connection failed/refused.
- 8: imap setver receive timeout.
- 9: imap server send time out.(ocurred when invalid imap server name entered in setting panel.)
