Map Mailer is an iPhone/iPod Touch application that sends map jpeg image attached to your email. Useful when you are sending receivers who are still using traditional mobile phones that can not see html linked maps on the web site.

Primary functions of Map Mailer app.

You can select GEO coders from three types,Tiny,Yahoo and Google.
You can drag and drop annotation pin on the map.
You can set annotation text at your pinnned place.
Book marks available.
Two images sizes, 320x480(iPhone screen size) or 320x240(for traditional mobile phones).
Able to save map images to your photo library. In this case size is fixed to 320x480.
By pressing left button on toolbar, you can go back to current place.
By pressing center button on toolbar, your can move your pin to the center of map.

Usage notes

Digits on the tool bar is the current longitude,latitude and resolution of your GPS.
If our GPS do not show good results, you may be able to get better results by enabling Wi-Fi connection.
Rain and snow weather will prevent GPS resolution getting better results.
Sometime you cannot get address text from reverse GEO coder. This depends on the reverse GEO coders specifications. If you move the pin slightly you may be able to get correct address texts.
If you select image size of 320x240, your image will start 120 pixes offset from top of you screen.
Frequent map querying will leads to limitted functionality by the map servies.
This applicaion may not be able to work correctly if the deependent map services are not available.
We will continue to provide better software through minor version updates.
